MEE Format
The Multistate Essay Examination (MEE) is a series of 30 minute essay questions covering Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, Torts, Business Associations, Conflict of Laws, Family Law, Federal Civil Procedure, Trusts and Estates, and Uniform Commercial Code. Although the National Conference of Bar Examiners (NCBE) typically prepares nine questions, most jurisdictions require only six.
